As I stand hear in a post ceremony photo with Jim, Zach, and Mandeep, I simply have to comment on the sheer ridiculousness of the traditional graduation attire.

The robes and hoods are downright cult-like, the tassel's only purpose is to tickle your face and get stuck in your mouth as you walk, and if there's anything in the world that can flat out make you look like a jackass, its the stupid hats. What warped engineer of clothing decided it would be a good idea to stick a black cardboard square on top of an elastic hairnet? ...an item, mind you, that would assault the unsuspecting heads of what would turn out to be quadrillions of future graduating classes. How medieval is it that something that ridiculous could become standard? I mean, come on people!...I rest my case.
